Mars (The God of War). Portending conflict, the red planet’s canals were ruled by the beautiful princesses of Barsoom. Its symbol represents the cross of matter exalted over the circle of spirit (but directed to where?)
Mars has been known from earliest times as the red planet. The Egyptians called it Harmakis, the Babylonians Nergal and the Greeks knew it as Ares, the God of War, son of Zeus and Hera.
In recent times Mars has acquired its own Mythos with the “discovery” of canals - which (sadly) do not really exist - and tales of Barsoom by Edgar Rice Burroughs.
The modern mysteries are the existence of life on Mars and whether or not the famous Viking photograph of a face and pyramids is real or the result of computer processing.

We’ve also added two watch collections, (using virtual images) one displaying the original Odyssey Collection™ pewter designs and one displaying the colorful graphical interpretations created by Amy Benavides in the Odyssey II Collection™. Both our virtual watch collections share a common band design, a titanium case and a scratch-proof mineral crystal.

THE ODYSSEY COLLECTION™ was conceived by Sam Lax, and the original drawings based on Sam's concepts were created by Karin Swildens, internationally-acclaimed artist and sculptress. Then Sam breathed dimension into these drawings to bring you this exciting collection, cast in fine Pewter by the late Don Tortolani, Sr.
As we were creating products which were based on the original pewter pendants, we had numerous requests to use the images of our actual pewter pendants, and so we have done so on our 11-oz. mugs, tee-shirts, tote bags and a collection of watches, as well as using the designs from both the Odyssey Collection™ and the Odyssey II Collection™.
